Rajiv Bhatnagar is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering with post graduation training at Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur . He has undergone professional training in U.K. Germany and Belgium.
Rajiv has more than five decades of industrial experience (+30 years in leadership positions). He was Chairman cum Managing Director of NSIC, a Public Sector Enterprise in India from July 2002 till May 2005. From July 2005 till July 2017, Rajiv was Adviser to Minister of Industry & Commerce in the Kingdom of Bahrain. As Adviser (Industry Affairs), Rajiv was tendering policy and strategic advice on development of industrial activities in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Rajiv was with UNIDO for three years (January 2019 to December 2001) as National Project Leader for the project on institutional capacity building for international industrial partnerships.
Rajiv has a unique experience of working in high technology manufacturing enterprises (aviation & telecommunications) for initial 18 years of his career followed by almost 32 years in development of industrial enterprises in private sector.
